"Goodnight stars, goodnight air, goodnight noises everywhere."
What better way to begin a blog about bedtime stories than with the ultimate nighttime read, Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown? Goodnight Moon is the classic board book filled with goodnight wishes from a little bunny, who in typical toddler fashion must say goodnight to everything around him before going to sleep. Beautiful in its simplicity, the soothing repetition of the classic poem is enchanting to both children and adults. Goodnight Moon became a staple of our bedtime routine when my daughter was a baby, and now at 3 years old, she still enjoys finding the little mouse in each illustration of "the great green room." Filled with charm and bedtime magic, Goodnight Moon is a must for every children's book collection.
